Baby give it up...

Give it up, baaaaby give it uuup. Nana-nana-nana-nanana-nana baby give it up. Give it up, baaaaby give it uuuup.

That song is a kl.

ANYWAY, this weekend was simply lovely. I went through to Edi B on the 5pm buuuus and was there by just after six. Robbie met me (because I still don't know the way to da flat... I am a failure) at the bus stop and then we ventured back to his. We had Chinese for dinner. It was rather yummy. We tried to watch Star Wars, but ended up watching The Book Group instead. Then yesterday we saw Superbad which is funny in a really weird, almost creepy way. Today we finished all of The Book Group and then I bussed home on the 4.30pm.

It was very fun. I slept a lot (probably a good few hours more than Robbie) but that's just made me very tired. How odd. Well, not so odd really, but still a bit gay.

I just had fruit salad with rice pudding and custard. So fuuuuuuull.

I'm not working 'til Tuesday, so I don't know what I'll do tomorrow. Sleep, probably. Lie-in fo' sho'. Innit.

Anyway, I can't be bothered saying much else, so I shall just say that I had a very enjoyable weekend and Robbie is da bomb-diggity.

Bomb. Diggity.

Curry Karaoke.

Anyone want to go? I was thinking we could get a heavy fleeto on the go of like... peepz. It's £12 per person on Tuesday or Wednesday, £15 on Thursday and £25 on Friday and Saturday, but you get discounts for groups of over 20 people.

I doubt that many people will want to go.

http://www.currykaraokeclub.com

I doubt anyone would go really. I'll heavy end up going on my own aaaaahahahahaaa. I think it'd be funny though, even to just watch other people singing. Such a buzz. And the October week is coming up...

Surely some people would like to go? It would be hilarious...

ON A DIFFERENT NOTE I'm going to the cinema with Edith today to see Bratz. Yas. Yesterday I did nothing, but I did see High School Musical 2 which was kind of gay but cute. kind of.

Oh, and I get to start working behind the counter in the newsagent's next week. Isn't that exciting? It isn't. And I'll need to be in for 6am. But still. Money.

So, CURRY KARAOKE ANYONE?!

are you okay?

yes : )

kiss the rain. lalala.

I'm sorry to say this but... I'm definitely a shopaholic. Especially when it comes to shoes. Omg how do they make shoes so beautiful and alluring?! I just want them all. They're all so bright and lovely and I just want to wear A DIFFERENT PAIR WITH EVERY OUTFIT. Ohmy.

So I got black and pink wellies from Qube. They're very nice, and they're perfect for the weather we're having just now. No more soaked feet : ) I wanted little ankle boot heels that I saw in Primark but Angelica told me I'd never wear them and I wasn't allowed to get them. She is harsh, but I know it was the right thing to tell me. I also got a hoodie from Topshop. It's black and pink (I'm beginning to see a patteeerrrn...) and baggy and warm. My smallest purchase was a scarf from Logo which is nice and kind of sparkly in places.

Oh my. I want more clothes. I need clothes. Clothes are so amazing.

Aside from shopping, I've just been doing errands and stuff really. I think I'll try and get a wee job tomorrow, somewhere in the area, just to tide me over until January. Must remember to tell maw to tell aunt to tell aunt's boyfriend that I will take the job.

Might stay up to watch the new Scrubs tonight, if possible, then go to bed straight after. Mmm sleep at ten : )

Yummy!

bop.

Nice weekend. Sat in and watched TV with maw on Saturday evening, then on Sunday I went through to Edinburgh to see Robbie. We went out to dinner with his maw, who also travelled through to see him. He is a popular young man. We tried to watch TV programmes on his computer-TV, but they weren't buffering properly : ( which was gay. But we saw one episode of The Book Group and then I made it through an entire Star Wars film : ) proud.

After a hearty sleep, we went to the cinema on Monday afternoon and saw 3:10 to Yuma which was quite good, but a bit long. We had crappy Pakora from a nearby newsagent. It was crap : / But after that I had to go home. So I gotz ma bag and Robbie walked me to the bus stop (even though he seems to be under the impression that I should be able to find it by myself by now. I really can't... I should get a map. Or a sense of direction.) and dat was dat.

Yesterday I lost one of my paper rounds to the girl who was doing them before she went home for summer, but that's okay because, although it's less money, it's less work too : ) and I like dat. After my wee round, I helped out in the shop for an hour then went home. I was feeling okay, but then I got really bad cramp in the late morning (that's aboot 11am, in case you are stupid) and retired to my bed for about four hours. It was a boring day where I just read and watched TV, but it wasn't entirely unenjoyable. Apparently that's not a word. Gtf Firefox.

Anyway, not much going on. There's never anything good to eat in my house any more : ( Haha I just made IJ chase my mum's shoe. I don't know if I mentioned that the kitten is called IJ. I probably did. Indiana Jones.

He mews a lot. He's a total seal.

BABY I compare you to a kiss from a rose on da grey...

I want to play Singstar : (

Not amused.

In fact, one could say, unamused.

I'm so tired of ending up feeling like this. Talking solves nothing. No wonder countries go to war so much.

X Factor tonight.

Saw Hairspray with Debbie last night. We sang along. The couple next to us were amused.

Unlike me.

Second chances...

They don't ever matter, people never change. Once a whore you're nothing more, I'm sorry that'll never change and about the forgiveness we're both supposed to have exchanged? I'm sorry honey, but I passed it up now LEWK DIZ WAY!

Paramore are heavy klz you know. Heavy klz. I got their new album yesterday and I can hear it playing in my bedroom just now. I got bored of sitting with the kitten asleep beside me though, so I came into the hall to write in MA BLOG.

"Why Being Lonely is Sometimes Super Awesome."

Rofl, I need to watch that episode again. Which reminds me: New Scrubs tonight! : D Yay! Also I have Skins recorded that I need to watch, but I'm not so bothered about that cause I just watch it on occasion when there's nothing else. And I missed last week's episode. And I missed the very first one too. Lalala!

Gosh. I have nothing to say. I just spent about fifteen minutes reading Scrubs quotes on some random blog off Google. I am so sad.

No news really. I think my aunt is coming up with my mum in a minute, and I asked my mum to get me Greggs : ) so hopefully she will have yummy food. And top-up my phone maybe. Cause my mummy loves me. Hahaha : |

Need to dry my hair. Need to find something to pass the time. I think the fish monger's is looking for people again. I saw a sign in the window, but I was too far away to see what it said. Shall check that out later.

Now, I leave you with the conversation Angelica and I had in German when I went to collect her last week:

Angelica: Ciao.
Me: ...
Angelica: ... That's not German is it?

It just ain't right...

And I don't know... I don't know what he's after. But he's so beautiful, such a beautiful disaster. And if I could hold on through the tears and the laughter, would it be beautiful or just a beautiful disaster?

Omg she's so awesome : ) When I saw her live she sang that one a capella and it was so lovely. I like the music in it too though. Rawrwuawrwuawaauuurr. Anywayz, enough about Kelly Clarkson o.O...

I got my kitten on Saturday. He's small and cute and fluffy. He likes company too much though, and when he's left alone he meeeeews a lot. I tried to have a shower today but he was so annoyed at me for locking the bathroom door that he just... mewed. A lot. So I had to let him in and he nearly drowned. Well, not really, but he did try to get under the shower.

Crazy kitten. I have only just come up with a name for him this morning. He shall be named Indiana Jones : D cause he likes exploring and running about and like, running about with expensive jewels and all that.

American Hi-Fi have just come on my iTunes. They're fun, maaaan, and their song The Art of Losing has been used in so many films and trailers and stuff. On Wikipedia it says:

"It has appeared in the movies Freaky Friday and American Wedding and on one episode of Malcolm in the Middle. It is used in trailers for the new film Hot Rod."

but I'm sure it's been in a lot more trailers than that, because I'm sure it was in two trailers when Robbie and I were in the cinema yesterday.

Which leads nicely on to Robbie staying over : ) On Sunday afternoon I got him from the bus station and then we went and saw Disturbia which was so horrible! It was an alright film, not boring or anything, but there was so many nasty bits with dead people and stuff : ( don't lyk scary filmz... But after that, we saw Run, Fatboy, Run which was funny, but seemed pretty long. I liked it though, and the ending was nice. After that we went back to mine and played with the kitten. The kitten was acting like a wee tough guy in front of Robbie haha because it was a lot more active for a lot longer than it usually is. He seemed to really like Robbie : D

Anyways, we basically just lazed about then watched about six episodes of Scrubs. Hahaha that show is da bizniz.

"Are you getting thicker? You feel thicker."

I am going to hear that a lot from now on. Hurhurhur : |

Anyways, then we slept and then in the morning I dragged Robbie to the dentist with me and I got a minor... filling thingy. And then we had Greggs and that was very yummy. Then we lazed about again (we're lazy people) and eventually walked (healthy, lazy people?) into town and went back to the cinema and saw Knocked Up which was pretty funny, and a good film. Then Robbie had to go home : ( so we rushed to da bus station and Robbie got on da bus and I said byebye.

Today there was a tip for me in the newsagent's! Can you believe it?! Someone I deliver papers to thinks I'm worthy of a tip. Yay : ) Was so happy about that. Unfortunately, though, Indie has been sneezing a lot the past couple days, so we have to take him to the vet tonight. Hope he's okay!

This post feels very long. Zoned out there and started watching Theo looking about. It was interesting. Not really. Theo's cute though.

Hopefully seeing Debbie or Angelica tomorrow. Oh, oh, I nearly forgot. My aunt's boyfriend has offered me a job! It's an absolutely amazing job as the production assistant on UB40's tour across Hawaii, Australasia and possibly South and North America. All flights are paid for and you get given a daily allowance for food and living expenses, and obviously they pay for accommodation. The pay is also about five times what you would make working full-time in a shop. It's an amazing opportunity. But... I get so sick on planes. It's worrying. Don't know what to do. I don't know if it's crazy of me to actually have to think really hard about this, but I am going to think about it a lot.

Anyway, any helpful comments (or just pointless ones) would be appreciated.

Guess what...

The other night dear as I lay sleeping
I dreamed I held you in my arms
But when I woke dear I was mistaken
And I hung my head and I cried

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away

I'll always love you and make you happy
If you will only say the same
But if you leave me and love another
You'll regret it all someday

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away

You told me once dear, you really loved me
And no one could come between
But now you've left me to love another
You have shattered all my dreams

You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy when skies are gray
You'll never know dear how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away

In all my dreams dear, you seem to leave me
When I awake my poor heart pains
So won't you come back and make me happy?
I'll forgive, dear, I'll take all the blame...

Getting my kitten tomorrow afternoon : ) He's so cute. Then hopefully I shall see Robbie the day after.

Would be very nice.

Spin cycle

you know, sometimes it just feels better to give in.

Yes, so, nice weekend. On Saturday night I went to the cinema with Debbie (after seeing Robbie for about 45 minutes just to say hi really) and we saw Rush Hour 3 which I've seen before and was slightly better second time round because it seemed shorter. We wandered town for an hour or so afterwards, but there was nothing to do and we ended up just going our separate ways. I think I was home at about 9pm.

Sunday was boring until I went and met Robbie and we got the bus to Edinburgh. His mum had given us money for dinner, but by the time we got to Edinburgh we were too tired to eat out, and most of the restaurants were shut anyway. The fireworks were on (my mother later informed me this was because it had been the last day of the festival) as we walked back to the flat, which was very cool, but annoying because it meant the bus had to stop further from the flat than anticipated. Still, 'twas a nice night time fireworks walk. We went and got Chinese and ate it in the flat then began watching The Legend of Zorro, but I fell asleep.

The next day we just basically hung about a bit and rofled in the flat/outside the flat until I got the bus home.

Today I went to a Strathclyde open day then hung about with Becca.

I am tired.

And a bit annoyed.

Bleagh.

That's one of the photos she sent me of them. Omg I'm so happy : ) I hope I can have the greyer one.

yay kitten. Yaaaay I hope she hasn't already had the ones she showed me reserved.

Kitten : ) Expensive expensive kitten!

catdog! catdoooog! alone in the world was a little catdog.

Aaaahhhhh... what a programme.

Anyway, the title is not only referring to that weird TV show, but also to the fact that I am torn between getting a cat or a dog. I wanted a chihuahua, then a yorkie, then a maltese, then a dachshund (still kind of holding on to that one...), and now I'm thinking ragdoll kitten?

Because ragdolls are SO CUTE.

See, look! How pretty is that kitty? Very pretty. And they're meant to have a really easy-going, lazy temperament, so it'd be such a cool cat to have. I hope it wouldn't pick up tips from the others though, cause they're not cuddly at all! They're evil. I bet it would as well, and as soon as it was old enough to have a life of its own it would leave me behind and go and splay itself across my bed like Gayb does, and not even enjoy me stroking it : (

Oh well, they're so fluffy! I want a fluffy pet. But I probably won't end up getting any, because I should really save my money for more necessary ventures...

All this week I have been paper rounding, and it's amazing the people you see out and about some mornings! This week I've seen Alex, Angelica's dad (twice!), Ross (this morning), Harry Padda from my old biology class and Kate, just to name a few! I got £25 for doing it all last week, and £35 for doing a bit of stock-taking on Thursday and Friday. Nine today for this morning's paper round too.

Bleaghhhh BUT I have two days off now : ) then I need to do the week day ones again because they have no one else. I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow : D and I can't wait to see Robbieeee too. Gosh, I hope tomorrow is worth all my excitedness and anticipationz. I have not seen Robbie since Wednesday. That probably doesn't sound like a very long time, and, well, I guess it isn't. But it just makes meeeee more exciteeeed about seeing his big face.

Lolbigface. I'm such a bully.

Oh oh omg Tuesday night was so much fun! Me and Robbie travelled to Edinburgh with Steve's friend Pete in a big van! Omg the van was so much fun because you had to climb up into it and you could slide out. Hahaha it was good! The way back was good too, but I was so tired I basically just dozeeeed against Robbie for it all (well, it was almost my bed time!)

On Thursday I saw Alexis and Angelica for a little while, and I was going to go to Angelica's and make cakes with her too, but by the time we got kicked from the Kibble Palace (for it was shutting, not because we are hooligans) it was 6pm and I was honestly so tired, so I just went home.

Anyway, I feel this is long and pointless and nonsensical enough now. Catchhhhh!
