party party getting up early.

I should stop staying out late and then getting up the next day.

So this has been a busy week. I forget what happened on Monday. Probably nothing. Yes, nothing. On Tuesday night I went to the school show with Michelle. It was shite-not worth the £3 entry fee. Everyone in it did well, but it was only an hour and a half and I felt robbed. I got home just after nine, I think, after waiting at the bus stop with Michelle.

Wednesday was the fashion show at Hyndland. It was cool, I saw Rosie and that was nice. The fashion was pretty good, especially some of the stuff the students made themselves. We got a free glass of Cava as well, so Angelica and I sat sipping it poshly in the second-to-front row. The woman in front of us was the dance coordinater, and she kept DANCING and trying to show them and remind them what they were to do. I wanted to smack her over the head with my wine glass. I controlled myself. After the show, Angelica and I went up to Philadelphia (We're regulars now : ) the guy is like our best friend. He gave us an added chip.) and had pizza and chips and shizz. We sat across the road from the chippy, munchin' and being too cold and (in Angelica's case) too blistery of the feet to move. I got in at about quarter past eleven.

YESTERDAY was "amaaaaazing". I was rudely awakened at 9am because the maw had finally found out when I was to go to the SECC. I was to go whenever I was ready, basically. So the maw and I got a taxi there and Jimmy came and met us : ) My maw then retreated back home while I was shown to the people who would be looking after me that day. The production assistant was called Bianca and she was awesome : ) we had a really fun time (although very boring at times). It was a very slow day, apparently, but it went by fairly quickly.

The catering was wonderful though. For lunch, I had spicy carrot soup and a macaroni pie and this other thing but it was cold, so I discarded it. Lunch's dessert was a scone with cream and jam and an eclair (and a couple of sweeties but they don't count). Dinner was at six. It was "amaaaaaazing!"! They come to you while you're sitting down and ask what you want, from a wee menu! There was salmon linguini, beef curry that I have forgotten the posh name for, chicken in wild mushroom sauce with potatoes or vegetable tempura. I had the chicken.

It was "amaaaaazing". The dessert was awesome too. I had banana and toffee pudding with lots of fruit thrown on and then I was so intrigued by the other "Summer" pudding that I tried some of that too, but Craig, my pally at lunchtime, and I both agreed that it was not up to much. It just tasted like sweet bread.

Anyway, at about dinner time the support band showed up, which was Maxi Priest. Nobody seemed to like them much, and their manager was hilarious. He was a huge black guy with dreads and glasses who spoke in a slow, deep southern accent and said things like "That's wicked man, wicked...". Fun guy, maaan. So the support band rofled it up at about 7.30 til 8.40, then just as the band were finishing up UB40 finally trooped in (although one of them had fallen asleep on the bus ride from the hotel and had to be driven back to the SECC when the chauffeur found him) and said their hellos. To be honest, I wasn't entirely sure which ones were band and which were just security. I had an idea though. They seemed nice enough though.

When they went on, Bianca and I watched them for about ten minutes at the beginning, but it was a bit boring and we were tired, so we just went back to the office and sat about watching TV and looking at stuff on Google Earth.

I got my dad to come for me at about tenish, cause I knew UB40 were on until eleven, and I couldn't be bothered sitting about any more. Jimmy gave me some money which was really nice of him because I really don't think I deserved it! I only did about three tasks over the whole 12 hours! I did want to help, but there was really nothing to do that day. I said goodbye to Bianca : ( and bye to Jimmy and then trooped off home.

It was well good : D I saw the big buses that they travel in, and they're gorgeous! Leather sofas downstairs with a big TV, twelve beds upstairs and a wee lounge with another TV and sofas all around the wall. Beautiful, but as Bianca said, very stuffy when there's eleven or twelve people travelling in it. I had such a fun time seeing all the stuff getting done though! I definitely hope I get to do something like it again.

Oh, the "it's amaaaazing" thing was something they'd all picked up from the American leg of the tour and heavy kept saying. Quite the lol.

This morning Debbie was up for a wee bit and we were chattin' and then I walked her up tae schoolio. Now I am bored, and trying to Christmas shop online, but need to ask the maw about using her card firstly. I hope she says it's okay, cause I really need to : /

WORLD PEACE.
x!
